Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites for a diverse range of clients.
– Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
– Implement website functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
– Optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO.
– Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs in a timely manner.
– Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments, tools, and best practices.
– Assist in website migrations, updates, and backups as needed.
– Provide technical support and training to clients as required.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
– Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
– Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL.
– Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
– Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
– Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Experience with Elementor and other page builders is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
– Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
– Understanding of website security best practices.
– Experience in a digital agency or similar environment.
